Hello! Welcome to Restoration Dental. My name is Anna. Let me tell you a little bit about myself and how I came to Restoration Dental.

I graduated from Ankeny High school in 1996, and then from Des Moines Area Community College in 1999 with a degree in Dental Assisting. I went to work for Dr. Jay Jensen as his very first dental assistant in private practice! We started this journey together! In 2002, my husband and I moved to the Chicago area. At that time, I worked for another LVI dentist in the Naperville area. In 2005, we decided to move back to the Des Moines area to be closer to family and friends. Over then past few years, I have worked for a couple of dentists in the Des Moines area, and then in May of 2008 Dr. Jay finally called me!

Along my journey I have had the privilege to work with several dentists, but none compare to the passion that Dr. Jay has for dentistry or for life! During that time, I was able to see the work of those dentists and they did not compare to the excellence that I see in Dr. Jensen’s work. I personally had Dr. Jay do four veneers for me, and the best comment that I got from another dentist was that he would not work on me because he knew that any of the work that he would do would not compare to the standard of care that I had seen with Dr. Jay.

I currently live in Ankeny with my husband and two African Grey parrots. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, and continuing my education at Drake University.
