Hello! My name is Tawnia, and I am one of two Registered Dental Hygienists here at Restoration Dental. I would like to take this opportunity to share with you some of my experiences in dentistry and how I arrived at Restoration Dental.
I'm a graduate of Des Moines Area Community College with an Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. I am also certified in local anesthesia and am recognized by the Academy of Laser Dentistry through LVI. Prior to Restoration Dental, I gained other professional experience through other dental clinics here in central Iowa. My husband and I currently reside in West Des Moines along with our two Pekingese dogs. We enjoy the simple things in life like staying physically fit, settling down with a good magazine, and just being with one another.
Becoming a part of Dr. Jay’s team and his philosophy has been an amazing experience, not only professionally, but also personally. I was amazed by Dr. Jay’s cutting edge style and his dedication to continuous learning that far exceeds the minimum standards of care of an average dentist or dental practice. He truly wants the very best for his patients as well as his team and family.
